If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect moment” to trade your petrol engine for a silent, electric powertrain, the clock is officially ticking. As the 2026 financial year draws to a close, Tata Motors has launched its “Mega March Carnival,” offering the most aggressive discounts seen in the Indian EV space to date.
Valid until March 31, 2026, these benefits are designed to clear out existing inventory and help the brand maintain its 43% market share amidst growing competition from Mahindra and JSW MG Motor.
The Headliner: ₹3.8 Lakh Off the Tata Curvv.ev
The most shocking figure in this month’s campaign belongs to the Tata Curvv.ev. While it is one of the newest additions to the lineup, Tata is offering a massive ₹3.8 lakh in total benefits for unsold Model Year 2024 and 2025 stock.
Even if you prefer the latest 2026 manufacturing tag, the deals remain substantial. The base “Creative 45” trim is currently available with up to ₹2.8 lakh in savings, while all higher variants (including the Empowered+ 55) see a price reduction of up to ₹3.3 lakh. This includes a combination of a direct “Green Bonus,” exchange incentives, and corporate perks.
Savings Across the “Big Three”
Tata’s core EV trio—the Nexon, Tiago, and Punch—are also seeing major price recalibrations this month:
- Tata Tiago.ev: The entry-level favorite is now even more accessible. For MY24/25 units, total benefits have reached a peak of ₹2.1 lakh for the top-spec XZ+ Tech Lux trim. For the 2026 models, you can still secure up to ₹1.2 lakh in savings, making it one of the most cost-effective city commuters on the market.
- Tata Punch.ev: The electric micro-SUV is available with benefits up to ₹2.2 lakh on older Long Range (LR) stock. If you’re opting for a 2026 model, the Long Range trims still carry a healthy ₹1.4 lakh discount.
- Tata Nexon.ev: India’s most recognizable electric SUV offers up to ₹1.2 lakh in benefits for older inventory. For the fresh 2026 models, the discount is capped at a more conservative ₹50,000, reflecting its high demand and steady sales.
Flagship Perks: Harrier.ev
The recently launched Tata Harrier.ev flagship is also part of the March rush. Interestingly, Tata has simplified the offer here: a flat benefit of ₹1.5 lakh is being offered across all variants and manufacturing years. This includes a mix of high-value exchange bonuses and a special “Loyalty Reward” for existing Tata owners.
Why the Massive Price Cut?
Industry analysts suggest this isn’t just a routine year-end sale. With the Tata Sierra.ev scheduled for a mid-2026 launch and the Avinya premium brand debuting by the end of the year, Tata is aggressively “right-sizing” its inventory. Additionally, with business buyers rushing to claim 40% depreciation benefits before the March 31 tax deadline, these consumer offers create a perfect storm for high-volume sales.
