Strategic Restructuring of the Pulsar Lineup

Bajaj is reorganizing its high-volume Pulsar brand around three distinct structural pillars to clearly define rider use cases and streamline technology distribution:

  1. Original Pulsar Series: Classic street styling prioritizing utility, everyday comfort, and high fuel efficiency.
  2. Pulsar N Series: Modern street-naked geometry featuring refined power delivery, aggressive design language, and updated rider aids.
  3. Pulsar NS Series:Performance-focused perimeter-frame architecture geared toward sportier dynamics.

Following the recent rollouts in the Classic and N lineups, the upcoming focus shifts primarily toward upgrading the NS range.Higher variants across these platforms will continue to receive TFT instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and automated low-speed Crawl Tech features.

Entering New Segments: Dual-Sport and Retro-Modern

Beyond its core Pulsar portfolio, Bajaj is entering two specialized market spaces:

1. Bajaj Dual-Sport Adventure

Spotted testing extensively in India, this model marks Bajaj’s entry into the entry-level adventure and off-road segment. The motorcycle features an upright riding position, high ground clearance, upswept exhaust routing, and spoked wheels wrapped in block-pattern rubber. It is slated for an initial debut in export markets like Brazil before its domestic commercial launch.

2. Triumph Bonneville 400

Developing the joint-venture portfolio with Triumph Motorcycles, the upcoming Bonneville 400 serves as a traditional retro alternative to the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X. Utilizing a downsized ~350cc platform engine, the model adopts classic cruiser proportions, circular lighting elements, and relaxed ergonomics to compete in the mid-capacity retro segment.

Manufacturing Scale-Up and Production Expansion

To accommodate the expanded model range and sustained demand growth, Bajaj is executing a major manufacturing capacity expansion.

This infrastructure scale-up follows strong commercial performance in 2026. The Pulsar brand maintained strong sales momentum with over 66,000 units dispatched in July 2026, while Bajaj’s sports motorcycle portfolio recorded approximately 50 percent year-on-year growth during the Q1 April–June period. The timely rollout of these six new products positions Bajaj to maximize retail conversions throughout the peak festival buying window.
