For the last two years, the automotive world was braced for the end of an era. Under CEO Ola Källenius’s “luxury-first” strategy, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class—the gateway to the three-pointed star—was slated for discontinuation by 2025. Mercedes aims to make the A-Class a “digital sanctuary,” featuring a generative AI assistant that can manage everything from your smart home to complex route planning with integrated charging stops.
