As the 2025–26 financial year draws to a close, Honda Cars India has unveiled an aggressive suite of purchase incentives aimed at consolidating its market share in the sedan and mid-size SUV segments. For the month of March 2026, the company is offering cumulative benefits of up to Rs. 1.97 lakh, with a particular focus on its flagship hybrid technology and its high-ground-clearance SUV, the Elevate.

These incentives arrive at a critical juncture for Honda. With the recent Indian debut of the 2026 Renault Duster and the impending launch of the Skoda Kushaq facelift, Honda is utilizing year-end fiscal benefits to improve the value proposition of its core models.

Honda City and City e:HEV: The Gold Standard Incentives

The 5th-generation Honda City remains the cornerstone of the brand’s premium identity. For March, the standard petrol City—available in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims—attracts benefits of up to Rs. 1.56 lakh. This includes a combination of cash discounts on MY2025 stock, exchange bonuses, and a unique 7-year unlimited-kilometer extended warranty package that is currently being offered free of charge on select variants.

However, the headline figure of Rs. 1.97 lakh is reserved exclusively for the City e:HEV (Hybrid). Priced at Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the hybrid variant has seen a strategic price correction through these incentives to narrow the gap between it and the top-spec petrol CVT. By offering substantial cash support on the hybrid, Honda is targeting buyers who would otherwise be deterred by the initial “green premium” of a self-charging electric vehicle.

Honda Elevate: Aggressive Push in the SUV Segment

The Honda Elevate, which shares its 1.5-litre i-VTEC platform with the City, is currently available with total benefits reaching Rs. 1.81 lakh. This is one of the highest discount structures the model has seen since its launch.

Specific attention is being paid to the ADV Edition and the ZX Black Edition. In addition to direct financial benefits, Honda is including accessory-led upgrades such as a 360-degree camera and ambient lighting—features that were previously reserved for limited editions—as part of the standard deal for March bookings. With a segment-leading 220mm ground clearance and a 5-star safety reputation, these incentives make the Elevate a formidable alternative to the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The New Amaze Factor

While the City and Elevate lead the high-value deals, the 3rd-generation Honda Amaze is also part of the March campaign. Having recently earned a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, the new Amaze is being offered with benefits up to Rs. 57,000. For those on a stricter budget, dealerships are also clearing remaining stock of the 2nd-generation Amaze with deeper discounts of up to Rs. 68,000.

Buyer Considerations

It is important to note that these “up to” figures are often tied to specific criteria, such as exchanging an old car or qualifying for corporate loyalty schemes. Furthermore, the highest benefits are typically applied to leftover Model Year 2025 (MY25) inventory. Buyers looking for the absolute latest 2026 production units may find slightly lower direct cash discounts but can still leverage the extended warranty and loyalty bonuses. As the financial year ends on March 31, these offers represent the most significant saving window before the anticipated price revisions in April.
